Darren Sproles is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery to repair a fractured hand.
Coach Joe Vitt was "vague" about Sproles' timetable for return, but this sounds like something that will cost him several games. Pierre Thomas should be the primary box-score beneficiary, seeing increased action in the passing game. Mark Ingram does not play a role similar to Sproles, and the impact on Ingram's usage remains to be seen. Fantasy owners need to hang onto Sproles until we get more info. All the Saints backs are gone in my league....except for Ivory and Cadet. Cadet is basically a large version of Darren Sproles, albeit slower. I'm rolling the dice and picking him up in hopes the Saints put him to use.

Yep. Kinda came out of no where too. First a hamstring that turned into a small hand problem next thing ya know it's being amputated. Rolling with Daniel Thomas this week.

I thought Tate might have got some extended work this week since the Texans will run all over the Bills.

I am just grumpy about having to start Ballard, who is in a time-share with Brown going against the stingy Miami D.

Tate could have been in for a good amount of usage against BUF this week. BUF is completely awful and you would have to imagine that HOU will just pound the rock the whole game.
