Who is your NFL MVP and Fantasy MVP halfway through the season? Fantasy MVP can be from the entire pool or could be someone personally who has carried one of your squads. Have fun with it.

NFL MVP: Matt Ryan. Homerism sure but you can't argue with the record and you can't tell me if Brady, Manning, etc. etc. etc. had this record even with the close games Atlanta has had that that's all people and the media would be talking about. Time to give the kid his props and he was about as clutch as you could be on Sunday night against a very tough pass D, even without throwing a TD. Once again it appears he has taken the next step.

Fantasy MVP: For me it's Doug Martin. Didn't have the best start to his season but whatever they have figured out about the running game in Tampa, it's working. In my non PPR league he's leading Arian Foster in scoring by 1 point and yes he's rostered on my team. Carried me a few weeks thus far. The only concern is if he'll hit the rookie wall at some point over the 2nd half.

NFL: Matt Ryan

Fantasy: AJ Green. This guy has scored in 7 straight and has only put up single digit points once (PPR).
1st runner up: Adrian Peterson. Doubters are regretting they passed on him.

NFL - Matt Ryan. Leading an undefeated team will get that for you.

Fantasy - Peyton Manning. He's been outdone by a few qbs but when you factor in ADP he gets my vote.

If we're talking about right-now, halfway-mark awards:

NFL: Ryan
Fantasy: Bears DST, RGIII

By the end of the season, I think it's gonna be:

NFL: Peyton Manning
Fantasy: Martin, A.Rodgers

Anyone that thinks Ryan > Rodgers is high. Rodgers might throw 45-50TDS this year.

Manning is also having a much better year than Ryan.

I could buy the Ryan argument after those two, but Roethlisberger and Brady have been just as good as Ryan.

The argument could be made that Ryan has been the fifth best player at his position this year.

All the above QBs are also on winning Playoff teams so he will get no advantage there.

Ryan is great, but hes not going to win the MVP unless he steps it up big time.

LOL STFU. Saying Manning is having a much better year than Ryan is beyond idiotic.

Fantasy: I am with the guys on the Bears D/ST, it is incredible what they have done so far, there has been at least a couple of Sunday nights I thought I was beaten but the Bears DEF got going on Monday night and turned it around. No other player I have comes close to contributing as much to my wins as them.

NFL: Guess you can't argue with an unbeaten QB, Matt Ryan.

he has the easiest schedule going but 8-0 is still kinda, like, you know, stepping it up, big time.

the "much" part is excessive, but Peyton is having a better year than Ryan. More yards, more TDs.

regardless, the NFL MVP at the midway point is still Aaron Rodgers. No running game, a crappy defense, but they're still a top 5 team in the conference and a solid bet to make it to the super bowl.
fantasy MVP is Arian Foster. He hasn't had a single bad week, and even his "down" weeks resulted in "top 12 RB" points. He's been the best AND the most consistent RB in the game (we're ignoring 2 huge weeks from Martin).
