Just had a little debate with one of my buddies on the topic. I was split and said I'd take either... but he just loves Newton's abilities and believes that it's a no-brainer pick. Who would you take to lead your team?

Obviously Newton came out on top in their week 9 matchup but I still find it difficult to compare the two... Cam is in his dreaded sophmore slump, whereas RG3 is a rookie... but if I just had to I think I'd go with RG3. Redskins offense has completely come alive since he's arrived and he's so dang accurate. But like i said..I like Cam Newton too.

But seriously RG3 is a way better quarterback in the traditional sense. I'm not a huge Cam fan because I'm not sure he will ever be able to digest and read defenses and make consistently accurate throws. Only thing I'd say RG3 needs to work on is picking his spots better when running the ball. He will not survive full seasons if he continues to run at the rate he was in the first half.

1994 Moon made the pro bowl with the vikings throwing 61.7% , 18 tds, 19 ints (int % 3.2 ) w/ 79.9 passer rating

Cam Newtons #'s so far - 57.0%, 6tds, 8 ints (int % 3.4) w/77.7 passer rating

pretty close to Moon's pro-bowl appearance.. I suppose we'll see Cam in Hawaii.. Moons got his back.
