Will be interesting to see the numbers. A must signing by Reid in my opinion.

In a corresponding move, they tagged Albert.

I kind of remember that story being bogus. Doesn't matter now though.

I guess new regime helped and a change at qb. Reid is pretty persuasive.

I dont believe that, this is the same guy that threw his teammates under the bus not to long a ago, I cant imagine the the team was very happy with him. add in the qb and coaching situation of haley and cassel I can see it being true.

Ha! I remember that one, telling the media that guys had girls in their hotel room on road games. For shame!

Here it is:
11/15 - “Why wouldn’t I want to stay here? It’s a no-brainer for me,” Bowe told Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star. “I never said I didn’t want to be here. I never said that. This is where it started for me. This is where people know me from. That’s crazy to me. When I heard that, I was like, ‘Where did that come from?’ I never said I wanted out. Please clear that up for me. Do I play like I don’t want to be here? I just keep my mouth closed and play the game. That’s what I do. Please tell everybody to stop saying I’m a bad guy. I just don’t talk [to the media much].”

“This is where I was drafted,” Bowe said. “When I’m finished, I feel I should be in the Hall of Fame and hopefully win Super Bowls.

“I play the game to win. That’s what I do week in and week out. I feel we can do that here, of course. Things happen, and it won’t be easy, but I try to show [that spirit] and it will become contagious. You’ll see it. It’s coming.”

Well, I guess he proved his words. It will be interesting to see the contract details.

I think reid must have gave him a nice contract, could be wrong, but imo opinion if I had done that(which I wouldnt of) I dont think I would want to be around the team very long.

Probably true then damage controlled into being bogus.

Either way, whole regime has changed. Offensive coach with a history of WR production, new QB. Honestly the Chiefs are sort of killing it this off-season. I'm not wild about Reid, but he'll get production on the offense, he'll utilize Jamaal Charles well, young talent is retained, new QB who can win games and won't lose them for you.

Long-term there are some concerns, they gave up a lot for Smith, Bowe has some character flags and Albert has some injury flags, but if those things work out...they've made impressive moves, considering what they're working with, and still have the #1 pick.
