Is Keenan Allen an every down player in San Diego at this point? Malcolm Floyd is done for the year.

I saw that he was mentioned a few times in the Waiver pickup thread. The fact that Rivers is playing very well right now and that their defense can't seem to stop anybody will keep the Chargers throwing a ton. Vincent Brown is not showing much and Allen seems to be heating up.

Anyone have any insight on Keenan Allen and what to expect the rest of the way? SD schedule seems pretty friendly as well.

He's a nice flier and you could have a worse flex/wr3 in a 12+ man league this week. I grabbed him this week. SD offense obviously has turned it around somehow and he's their best receiver. I'm starting Blackmon over him this week though.

He played 94% of snaps last week and I don't see that going down too much from this point on.

He's definitely an intriguing flyer. I am considering dropping Royal for him. It seems as if Woodhead has sort of taken over Royals TDs, and if Royal isn't scoring TDs he's not too useful.....

Lundy,

Do you plug him in a flex this week over the likes of Hillman, Jonathan Franklin or D.Bowe???

I'm tempted to throw the dart since I don't expect much from Bowe this week in Nashville and likely covered by A. Verner....

Thoughts?

Given that the Rams RB situation isn't resolved, should I take a chance on Pead or drop Pead for Allen?

Depends on your roster and bench size.

I'd go for it..You have room to do it. I'd probably take him over MWilliams right now

Don't mean to get all homer on you all, but Keenan Allen really impressed me w/ his performance this week. With the lack of options in SD and all the injuries (Floyd just went on IR for those unaware btw), he's def someone to keep an eye on.

I'd take Nate; esp. if you want a much higher floor, he should see steady targets.

Allen has more upside, but can easily be inconsistent and dissappear as targets are gonna be spread around more than in Ten

^Posted about him a while ago on the waiver thread, I'm probably more excited about him than anyone here, but gotta keep expectations tempered. He's still a rookie w/ lots of room for improvement... this week he played like a vet, catching everything that came his way and when it mattered most. He's building trust and rapport w/ Phil, hopefully it continues.

I will say though, it'll be prudent to pick him up prior to this weeks game, b/c if he follows it up w/ a game like last week, his ownership is gonna spike.

I picked him up in both my $$ leagues. Dropped a backup TE (Dallas Clark) and a benchwarmer RB (Hillman) for him. I'll take his potential upside over guys who are likely to never see my starting lineup.
