Cowboys QB Tony Romo has been ruled out the rest of the season due to his back injury, per league source.

NBC may want to re-flex their Sunday Night matchup.

I am very critical of Romo in years past but not this year. He did his job. He would not have made as many of the mistakes he did had the defense been just decent and not have made him keep having to throw to keep up. I commend him and I thank him as I think this year was his best effort to date and if he only would had a defense he could have made some noise. I hate he will miss the season finale and I thank him.

Romo is going to be 34 next year and his career postseason record is 1-3

draft another qb

I'm sure the Eagles will find a way to blow it.

I would assume they were going to draft a QB this year or next regardless...

That sucks. Romo is my favorite QB not named Aaron Rodgers. He is fun to watch, even if he does make some Favre-esque mistakes from time to time.

Certainly looks like it is the Eagles division now.
