Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Not only has Romo broken it off with his high profile main squeeze this off season, he’s parted ways with Terrell Owens, who was the beneficiary of 24 TD passes out of a total of 62 thrown by Romo the past two seasons. Both may be considered an “addition by subtraction” to some, but I believe the loss of Owens will be quite costly to Romo’s fantasy numbers in 09’. Missing 3 games last year due to a broken pinkie finger, he compiled an average of 2 TD passes in the 13 games that he did start. But moving forward, the key will be the chemistry built (or not built) between he and last year’s acquisition Roy Williams. This year’s fantasy mock drafts do not have Romo anywhere close to his last year’s status. Normally taken about the 2nd round of fantasy drafts in ‘08, stay away from him this year until rounds 5-6.
Lots of ups and downs. I critized them early and they went on to prove me wrong. I appreciate the effort these guys made to turn the year around and I am very proud of them as a team.
Can't wait to get my hands on Favre in Texas next year! I ...

All punks. Every one of these, and this is only to name a few. As far as I'm concerned, there is only one good and decent Cowboy in history, and that man is George Teague, ...

Draft Analysis
Round 7, Pick 4
Positives Looked good after he took over last year, has good receivers with TO, Glenn, and Witten. Should have a good running game to balance the offense. Negatives Inexperience Draft Strategy After passing on QBs in the last 2 rounds, and 17 picks before I'd get to choose my next player it was time to get a QB. Romo was the 9th QB selected in our draft, and that's about where I'd rate him. If I'd waited there would be 3 - 4 QBs selected and I'd be scraping the bottom of the barrel. Romo should be OK if paired with another QB picked in the next few rounds (Contributed by: mf)
Round 7, Pick 4
Positives Romo had a phenomenal 11 weeks of being the field captain and proved he was more than capable of filling those shoes. He has the benefit of an improved O-line and a returning set of WRs not to mention RB's who are ball hungry. A full season of Romo could result in Top 5 status for him by the end of the year. Negatives Untested for a full season. T.O. the Team Killer enters his 2nd season as a Cowboy after having succeeded in wearing out Parcells. Draft Strategy Romo is perfect for my team and I knew he would be gone if I waited another round for him. (Contributed by: RatSlinger)
Round 6, Pick 11
Positives Looked great once he took charge last season. Dallas looks to be strong again this year, and he has T.O. to throw to. Given any improvement this year, Romo will be very deserving of this draft position Negatives Still young, hasn't had a full season at the helm yet. Draft Strategy All the top QBs were gone at this point and my RB / WR starters were covered. I didn't really want to be grabbing QB yet, but also didn't want to get caught without a viable starter. Paired with a decent backup in rd 8 or 9, I think Romo should easily finish a top 10 QB to merit his selection at the end of round 6. (Contributed by: rockstarphil)
