Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
A much better real QB than fantasy option. 2007 is an aberration, he's at his best when his throws are limited, letting the defense and running game dominate the game. Routinely over drafted in 2008 he offers decent value this year as a quality backup, especially since the offensive line was not addressed (again) this offseason so they will still be throwing inside the 5 yard line.
Man, what's up with losing at home to the crapball Raiders?
I'm bumbing about the Pats losing at Miami. But I can console myself somewhat by saying, Well, at least we didn't lose to the friggin Raiders....
I'm thinking we can still get in. We have to have Ben and Polamalu though. Anything less will prove to be the end of a promising year. I'm still disgusted with the chokes we've had this year. We should have beat the Bengals both times, the ...
Will the running game pick up?
How much are we missing Polamalu?
Can Ben do everything on offense?
Will the refs continue to let people hold Harrison every other play?...

15. Wide receivers Limas Sweed and Kevin Curtis will be available for trade this week. Do you think anyone takes one? I doubt ...

Draft Analysis
Round 8, Pick 9
Positives 3,500 yards and 18 TDs last year, has decent WRs in Ward & Holmes, doesn't start with the handicap of recovering from motorcylce accident like last season, Steelers may run a more QB friendly offense this year Negatives Threw a lot of INTs last year, new coach, Steelers have traditionally been a run-first offense Draft Strategy Drafted him as my back up QB. I had Romo as my #1 so I didn't want to wait and get an even worse back up in later rounds. I knew that there'd be about 2 - 3 QBs chosen before my next pick. Other QBs on the board were Cutler, Rivers, and Eli Manning. (Contributed by: mf)
Round 9, Pick 9
Positives Was the #10 QB last year, and he's still young. Has a gaudy 8.3 yards per attempt, and needs only more throws to rack up huge yardage. Gets some rushing stats, which are of premium value in shark leagues. Reportedly the Steelers will open up the offense this year, and the Steelers have 4 respectable WRs to target. Negatives Threw a billion interceptions last year. Hasn't played a 16 game season yet. On a team that loves to pound the ball in the red zone. Had 5 games last season of under 25 pass attempts. Draft Strategy With the 3/pTD format of the shark leagues, QBs just aren't very valuable. By waiting this long on a QB, I was able to secure stellar depth at RB and WR. Waiting much longer than now is scary, though, as there are only a few guys left who will throw for 3500 yards, which still score well in this format. (Contributed by: Agenda42)
Round 8, Pick 11
Positives Last year on his motorcycle season he still had 3,500 yards and 18 tugs. He looked sharp in the first preseason game and the offense is supposed to open up for him. Santanio Holmes and Wilson should start to make an impact along side Hines Ward. I look for him to make big strides this year. Solid QB2. Negatives Pittsburgh has been a run-first offense -- remains to be seen if the stories of airing it out more will hold true. Still remains to be seen if he is over his shaky season. Draft Strategy Little nervous about pulling my QB2 at 8.11, but even more nervous about relying on Romo as my QB1 so I really wanted a solid backup. I have a good feeling about Big Ben and the Steelers in general this year. (Contributed by: rockstarphil)
