Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
With the Chargers running game faltering at times in '08, Philip responded with a career year; no one threw for more touchdowns or came anywhere near his 105.5 passer rating. Not bad for a player drafted long after the Tom Brady's and Carson Palmer's as a QB2 in most fantasy leagues. His passing yards and touchdowns will come down to earth a bit, though, if the coachspeak promising a triumphant return to form by LaDainian Tomlinson is to be believed.
Yeah my chargers are 9-3 and doing great and have a good chance at the playoffs again this year. However I still hate Norv. I think he's a worthless pile of dog @#$@.
I must say I would love to watch San Diego go and win out and win the ...
Was not even paying attention but saw a picture on ESPN and checked it out. The chargers are only 1 game out from 1st place now in that AFC West.
Merriman is looking healthy, Rivers to VJAX has been amazing. Any way they can somehow pick up a run ...
FIRE NORV TURNER!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE THAT MAN.
He has been a thorn in SD's side since the day he walked into San Diego. I've been complaining for the past 3+ seasons with him and want him out!!!
Just wanted to vent and I just want that sorry ...

Draft Analysis
Round 4, Pick 8
Positives Led the league in passing TDs in 2008. Has a wide array of weapons at his disposal, including excellent receiving options at TE and RB. Rivers was a very efficient QB last season, throwing 34 TDs against just 11 INTs and a very strong 105.5 QB rating. Negatives Before 2008 Rivers was a consistent 3200/22 player for two seasons. If Tomlinson rebounds like people think he might, that will really cut into Rivers's TD production. Draft Strategy This was a very difficult pick, with many possible options sticking out at QB, WR, and RB. In the end, I looked at which position was likely to be the most differentiating, and the answer was clearly QB -- there aren't many QBs left with a chance to lead the league in TDs, and Rivers is one of them.
