Strength of Schedule
Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis

While the rest of the NFL is converting to a RBBC (Running Back By Committee) approach, Jacksonville is doing the opposite. After the release of veteran Fred Taylor, the Jags have given MJD the keys to the castle. Fantasy owners have been watching and waiting, imagining what Jones-Drew could do with a season full of legitimate touches. The waiting is over! Look for coach Del Rio to re-establish a run-first philosophy behind a revamped offensive line. MJD is part of a dying breed known as a four-down back. His speed is surprising and his stature misleading. He is proven in short-yardage situations and is just as reliable as a receiver. His every-down versatility gives him tremendous up-side. MJD's current ADP (Average Draft Position) is #2 overall. Much pre-season hype has him in contention for Fantasy MVP honors.

Rushing: 1200 Yards, 12 TD.
Receiving: 65 Receptions, 575 Yards, 2 TD.

Draft Analysis
Round 1, Pick 1
Positives
Proven superstar talent. No longer sharing the workload with Fred Taylor. Catches passes. Offensive line was a mess in 2008 due to injuries, which is unlikely to happen again in 2009.
Negatives
Has never carried the full load for 16 games. Probably won't get 20 carries every game, but should get at least 20 touches. In PPR, receiving touches are more valuable than rushing touches so that's a good thing.
Draft Strategy
While Adrian Peterson may be the most talented RB in the league, he doesn't catch passes like Jones-Drew. That's why I took MJD with the #1 pick. I don't think he'll be the best runner this year, but I do think he'll produce the most fantasy points in this format. (Contributed by: Phyrre56)

Round 1, Pick 1
Positives
Great talent on a run oriented offense. With Fred Taylor gone, MJD is in line to pick up more carries, I'm thinking he will improve from only 200 carries last year to 250. At last year's clip, that should put his rushing totals at 250/1000/15, plus he will catch balls out of the back field.
Negatives
The increased workload means increased injury risk, but I think that the Jags will do what they need to to keep their star on the field all year.
Draft Strategy
I have MJD at 1.01 in ppr, ADP at 1.02. That is flipped around when not playing ppr. (Contributed by: Baron_Fel)
