Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Played with less burst and shiftiness last season than fantasy owners have grown accustomed, due to what has been described as an excruciating toe injury. There's that, the infamous shoulder injury which sidelined him in the playoffs before that, and the fact that he's now 30. Oh, and San Diego wants to continue to keep his backup plenty involved. Nevertheless, if he's even 90% healthy you've got to consider him in the first round of your fantasy draft. This is one of the greatest RBs ever to play that we're talking about; he could very well post MVP-caliber numbers this year and next, for all we know.
Yeah my chargers are 9-3 and doing great and have a good chance at the playoffs again this year. However I still hate Norv. I think he's a worthless pile of dog @#$@.
I must say I would love to watch San Diego go and win out and win the ...
Was not even paying attention but saw a picture on ESPN and checked it out. The chargers are only 1 game out from 1st place now in that AFC West.
Merriman is looking healthy, Rivers to VJAX has been amazing. Any way they can somehow pick up a run ...
FIRE NORV TURNER!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE THAT MAN.
He has been a thorn in SD's side since the day he walked into San Diego. I've been complaining for the past 3+ seasons with him and want him out!!!
Just wanted to vent and I just want that sorry ...

Draft Analysis
Round 1, Pick 2
Positives Consistent top ten performer. Negatives New QB may negatively impact his numbers. Draft Strategy I had the top 3 ranked: LT2, SA, LJ so I was happy to get LT2 2nd overall; but, really would have been happy with any of them. (Contributed by: Faraim)
Round 1, Pick 1
Positives LT has been one of the best players in all of fantasy football for many years. He has also been effective with a young QB before. I expect his receptions to increase as Philips Rivers gets comfortable with the offense and makes more outlet passes. Negatives If Philip Rivers bombs, then defenses can stack the line against LT. Rivers and Antonio Gates need to establish an early relationship to stretch the middle of the field and create some running space. Draft Strategy With the first pick, you have to take a RB. I considered Larry Johnson and Shaun Alexander but both have some big question marks. LJ has a depleted O-line and a more conservative coach. Alexander lost his best blocker and took a lot of punishment last year. LT is the safest bet. (Contributed by: Phyrre56)
Round 1, Pick 1
Positives Consistency, durability, and receiving skills. Combining these qualities make LT2 the #1 choice slightly ahead of Alexander and LJ. LT2 will become more valuable in the passing game this season and should post the best receiving numbers this side of Brian Westbrook. Negatives Philip Rivers at QB means defenses will stack the line to stop LT2. Draft Strategy You can't go wrong with any of the top three RBs at #1. LJ had some question marks and Alexander shouold come down from his MVP season. 2,000 combined yards with 18-20 TDs is a good start to any fantasy team. (Contributed by: Ron_Anish)
