Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
With the Chargers running game faltering at times in '08, Philip responded with a career year; no one threw for more touchdowns or came anywhere near his 105.5 passer rating. Not bad for a player drafted long after the Tom Brady's and Carson Palmer's as a QB2 in most fantasy leagues. His passing yards and touchdowns will come down to earth a bit, though, if the coachspeak promising a triumphant return to form by LaDainian Tomlinson is to be believed.
Yeah my chargers are 9-3 and doing great and have a good chance at the playoffs again this year. However I still hate Norv. I think he's a worthless pile of dog @#$@.
I must say I would love to watch San Diego go and win out and win the ...
Was not even paying attention but saw a picture on ESPN and checked it out. The chargers are only 1 game out from 1st place now in that AFC West.
Merriman is looking healthy, Rivers to VJAX has been amazing. Any way they can somehow pick up a run ...
FIRE NORV TURNER!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE THAT MAN.
He has been a thorn in SD's side since the day he walked into San Diego. I've been complaining for the past 3+ seasons with him and want him out!!!
Just wanted to vent and I just want that sorry ...

Draft Analysis
Round 8, Pick 11
Positives Norv makes QBs better.
Adding Chambers last year gives Rivers a better deep target.
LT catching passes out of the backfield. Negatives Gates is dinged up, takes away a great target and touchdown catcher. Draft Strategy Drafting my first QB late in round 8 - Rivers was at the top of my remaining QBs. (Contributed by: DAFLCommish)
Round 8, Pick 6
Positives Rivers is a brash in your face kinda QB, he seems just a comfortable screaming at the crowd as he does under centre but the kid has courage and will play through pain as witnessed through last seasons playoffs when he suffered a torn ACL in one knee and still suited up to face the Pat's when LT couldn't find the heart to start or play and all that was reported was a bruised knee .. I like players with big hearts and even bigger balls and Rivers certainly seems to fit that bill ... The Chargers added Chris Chambers mid-season last year and he has never played better in his career, Vince Jackson is another excellent ball catcher and last years first round selection in the Draft Buster Davis round out a very good WR corp, add in the best TE in the business Antonio Gates and then top that off with the great hands of LT and Rivers has the talent around himself to be a top Fantasy QB. Negatives He has LT in the backfield and sometimes that is more than enough! Draft Strategy I needed a quality starting QB who has the potential to post top 5 - 7 QB numbers, I think Rivers will surprise an awful lot of people in his second year under Norv Turner ... yeah the same Norv Turner that was the OC in Dallas when the light finally went on for Troy ... yeah that Turner!
