Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the WR position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Larry Fitz is gracing the cover of almost every fantasy mag these days, but Andre Johnson should compete for best receiver in the league. Fitz lead the league in scores, but Johnson posted nearly 20 more receptions, and over 100 more receiving yards. He is a reception machine totalling 7 double-digit catch games. He is physical and will outwork defenders for balls. Double-digit TD's and 100-plus catches sounds good to me. Schaub's health has always been a concern, but back-up Orlovsky did a good job of finding Calvin Johnson despite triple coverage.
Because they are shorthanded at defensive back, the Texans are bringing in veteran cornerbacks Deltha O'Neal, Mike McKenzie and Jason Webster for tryouts Thursday. With Dunta Robinson missing camp because of a contract dispute and Jacques Reeves and ...
The Houston Chronicle reports that the Houston Texans have agreed to terms with quarterback Rex Grossman. The deal is for one season and a minimum of $745,000. He joins Dan Orlovsky and Alex Brink as backups to Matt Schaub....
Texans tight end Owen Daniels has become the second player to skip organized team activities this offseason because of a contract dispute with the franchise's front office. Daniels' agent, Alan Herman, said he and his client were told they would ...
Steve Slaton's 2008 season wasn't just nice. It was very nice. So nice that it is understandable to look at his production and project greatness for the Texans' second-year tailback. Slaton, who led the AFC in yards from scrimmage as a rookie, ...
If the Texans are unable to re-sign cornerback Dunta Robinson, it will change their philosophy entering the draft. Rather than pursuing a defensive end who can provide a pass rush opposite Mario Williams with their first-round pick, general manager ...

Draft Analysis
Round 2, Pick 9
Positives Had 850 yards and 60 receptions in only 9 games in '07. He had 74+ yards in every game bar one, and scored at least one TD in 7 of his 9 games.
Has developed a great rapport with Schaub in a very short time and that should continue to improve this year.
Negatives Johnson had his knee scoped in the middle of May and is now suffering from a strained groin.....injuries are a concern with this guy.
Loads of talent, but has yet to finish a season as a top 10 WR. Draft Strategy I was targeting three guys here. Andre Johnson was at the top of my list followed by Larry Fitzgerald and Braylon Edwards, and I was happy when Johnson fell.
I was pretty much determined to pick up a WR here as I don't like the RB's that were going around this spot. Jones-Drew was the only one I would have considered. (Contributed by: Aussie Cowboy)
Round 2, Pick 11
Positives When healthy last year was a legitimate fantasy stud, I see no reason why that cant be the same this season. Negatives Will that injury from last season slow him? Probably not... but thats the only negative I could think of. Draft Strategy In hindsight I actually consider this pick a mistake, there were plenty of WR's left on the board I could have taken, but the RB I was targeting could have been snagged by the guy drafting at the turn... luckily he wasnt which brings me to my next pick... Round 2, Pick 9
Positives He's huge. He's fast. He's got ups. He may be a little bit of a homer pick for me, but when AJ's in the game, he's catching balls, racking up yardage and finding the end zone. Negatives Andre misses games due to injury. I'm banking that this season he finds the field every game and Schaub finds him often in every game. Draft Strategy Shark leaguers tend to snag stud WR's in the second and third. I didn't want to miss out on my targets at this key position, and judging by how the draft went between this pick and my next, I would have lost out on all of the WR's I really wanted.
