Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
At first glance it would seem Bulger should have a bounce back year. The Rams drafted a top left tackle in Jason Smith, they didn't use a high draft pick on a quarterback, and he will be fully healthy. However, Steven Jackson will also be completely healthy, the wide receivers lack experience, and Steve Spagnuolo is a defensive minded rookie head coach. Bulger shouild improve on last year's numbers but can no longer be considered anything but a low end #2 QB.
Don't know if any of you are left in the tank... but you know things are bad when you douse your coach in gatorade after beating the Lions in a meaningless regular season game.
The good news is we have now won all the games we should have won ...

Rams LT Orlando Pace is down to a "svelte" 320 pounds.
Pace, who is 6'7, normally plays in the 325-330 range but says he'll be "in the best shape possible" this season. He is ...
So, if we pick OT with the first, there won't be a LB in the 2nd.
If we pick LB in the first, there won't be an OT in the 2nd.

I say, pick LB, because, frankly the OT's are not that good anyway....

Draft Analysis
Round 7, Pick 11
Positives Great arm, experience and a solid RB all translate into QB potential. Bulger has shown in the past he can be an Elite QB. He doesn't have as much WR talent as before, but if he can stay healthy, he will be a top 7 QB. Negatives Injury prone and not as my WR talent as in prior years. Draft Strategy With all the top QB's gone, Bulger was the next best in line. As to not miss the second wave of QB's, I decided round 7 was the time to get that QB. (Contributed by: krazeejb)
Round 8, Pick 11
Positives This is a little later than his ADP, as the other teams in this league continue to pile up RBs. Very good value at this position in the draft for a potential starting player. If the Rams can get their offense going, Bulger should have a very good fantasy season. Negatives Health has been a concern, both his personal health, and the health of the Rams offense (new offense, etc.). Steven Jackson's holdout also looms large, though I expect the two sides will get it done before the regular season starts. Offensive line hasn't looked good in the early preseason games. Draft Strategy While the other owners in the league are catching up at WR and drafting backup RBs, that creates the perfect opportunity to draft some very capable starting fantasy QBs. I'll grab at least 2, maybe three starting NFL QBs to insure I have a good starter. (Contributed by: doug_coutts)
Round 9, Pick 11
Positives Al Saunders now is offensive coordinator. Saunders runs an offense based on Mike Martz' system. A classic pocket passer who is accurate when given time... Negatives ...When given time is possibly the big issue. The offensive line is porous and contributed to Bulgers worst season ever last year. Draft Strategy I'm already thinking this was a bad pick. The offensive line has looked miserable in preseason. I'm gonna need at least 2 other QB's because Bulger is an injury risk with that O-line. Bulger is only 2 years removed from a probowl caliber season. His ceiling is high, the basement is deep though. (Contributed by: Mad_Puppy)
