Draft Analysis
Round 2, Pick 11
Positives 95 catches for 1366 yards and 12 TDs to lead the most prolific offense in the NFL is nothing to sneeze at. A proven performer that every CB in the league thinks is the hardest guy to cover. Negatives Harrison turns 35 this preseason and while he really hasn't displayed signs of slowing down, it is inevitable that one of these seasons he will. Hopefully this isn't that season. Draft Strategy I wanted to get a top WR in this draft either in the 2nd or 3rd round and accomplished that goal. I like balance in the shark leagues and think it's important to get 2 solid RB's and 2 solid WR's. (Contributed by: Tony_Holm)
Round 2, Pick 11
Positives Finished 2006 strong and won't let up in 2007. Peyton's favorite target, Harrison has 8 seasons behind him with no less then 80 receptions each season. Negatives He is getting old. Draft Strategy I really toyed with RB with this pick, but the choices were Portis, Thomas Jones and McAllister. After looking over numerous projections I felt that Harrison's +60 potential points was too good to pass up, after all, only two more players will come off the board before my next pick. Round 2, Pick 12
Positives Still one of the top WR's in the league. He's on a great passing offense with the top QB in the leauge. I'm pretty happy to have the opportunity to pick up a top WR here at the end of the second. Negatives I am concerned about Wayne stealing too many balls from Harrison this season. I was having a tough time deciding which to take, but decided Harrison still had a year left as the top target for the Colts.
Draft Strategy Since I'm sitting at the 2/3 elbow I had determined coming into this pick that I needed a RB and a WR. I wasn't thrilled with the RB options here and decided that drafting the RB I did in the third was better value ;-) which is why I selected Harrison with the first pick. (Contributed by: stevieQ)
