Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the WR position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Epitomizing what Mike Shanahan looks for in a wideout (on the field, at least) and developing chemistry with Jay Cutler, Brandon hauled in 206 catches between '07 and '08 and ranked third in the NFL in receiving yards. Not a complete receiver yet, he maximizes his opportunities with superb run-after-the-catch ability. Whereas Cutler seemingly gunned the ball to him as often as humanly possible, though, Josh McDaniels' offense is based on more of a "spread the wealth" philosophy. Besides that, the Broncos coaching staff and front office may value Eddie Royal more in the long term and aren't as dependent on Brandon as he may think. And his incessant clamoring for a trade and lackluster presence on the practice field certainly isn't conducive to getting time in with offensive teammates. What one is finally left with, here, is a dominant wide receiver who can just as likely nosedive in '09 as hover once again among the elite fantasy receivers. Update: He is suspended for the preseason, conduct detrimental to the team. Knock him down your draft board.
Broncos spent high picks for these two and they both really didnt make any visisble effects, imo. Do you see any improvement going to come for these rookies. I am worried about them because ayers was a one-year wonder on tennesse and alphonso ...
Denver got shalacked today, the Ravens just wanted it more but I am pumped and ready for next Monday night.
My trials and tribulations against the Steeler fans on these boards are well documented, mostly provoked by me.

Draft Analysis
Round 4, Pick 10
Positives 2007 was a break-out season for Marshall with 102 catches for 1,325 yards and 7 touchdowns; Jay Cutler's #1 target. Negatives Dude is a walking personnel problem and has a 3 game suspension to serve, which can be reduced to 2 games if he seeks professional help. Draft Strategy I wanted a decent #2 WR here, and Marshall, even with his suspension may very weel end up with #1 WR type numbers. (Contributed by: mrkkti)
Round 3, Pick 12
Positives Stud WR, last years sleeper, developed great chemistry with Cutler, should put up plenty of receptions, yard and TD's. Negatives Crazy offseason; slip and fall accidents, legal issues, already suspended 2-3 games. Draft Strategy Even taking 2-3 games off his projection,I still had him sitting atop my board. Bit of a boom/bust here but at least he is suspended now, not for the playoffs and hopefully he is motivated to stay straight and dominate. (Contributed by: Budman)
Round 4, Pick 6
Positives 3rd Year WR - In most cases the third year is when a WR really comes into his own, but with Marshall that may not be the case since he's already considered a top 10 WR after successful rookie and sophmore seasons .. last season he established himself as THE WR in the Denver offense with 102 Rec on 170 Targets for 1325 Yds and 7 TD. Terrific Hands, Excellent after catch yardage production, Great Size for a WR 6'4, 230Lb, Red Zone threat. Negatives He faces a 2-3 game suspension to start the season. Draft Strategy I didn't like the RB's that were available as once again the Fantasy Shark faithful over hit the RB pool and leave gems at other positions available. With only 1 RB on my roster I would have liked to take a decent RB2 here but the picken's were pretty slim so I took the best player available to go with Moss and Fitzgerald ... The Shark Format requires 2 WR's and 2 RB's to start and both Moss and Fitz will have bad match-ups and bye weeks to face .. what better sub in than Brandon Marshall .. last seasons WR 9.
