Strength of Schedule
Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis

Brady is well ahead of schedule after rehabilitation due to the knee injury he suffered week 1 last season. New England has added WR Joey Galloway and RB Fed Taylor to add to his offensive arsenal. While we doubt he will repeat 2007’s record breaking performance there is no reason to doubt he will return as one of the top QBs for the 2009 season.

Passing: 4270 Yards, 32 TD, 10 INT.
Rushing: 60 Yards, 1 TD.

New England Patriots Team Talk
Does any of you know what is the status of Sammy Morris? Bellicheck is a fantasy owners nightmare!!! why does he always have to be secretive about his injured players? It drives me nutZ!!! Please if anyone has heard anything...let me know! ...

I haven't heard a thing!...

Top Ten reasons these players don't go over their 2007 stats. 10. Josh McDaniels just left town .... who's going to orchestrate the offense? 9. Kevin Faulk is getting old and slow. 8. Peta protests at Gillette after the Mike Vick signing ...

According to multiple reports, the Patriots are considering a trade that would land Raiders linebacker Derrick Burgess in exchange for a second- or third-round draft pick. The 6-foot-2, 260-pound Burgess, who turns 31 on Aug. 12, is a two-time Pro ...

Now Jason Taylor is also a free agent. Just a few months shy of his 35th birthday, he's unlikely to command a megabucks contract or a long-term one. He's coming off a down year with the Redskins (just 3 1/2 sacks after averaging slightly more than ...

Draft Analysis
Round 3, Pick 8
Positives
Tom Brady with elite receivers? I need a piece of this action! I also think that Maroney will have trouble handling the complete load on his own and that the Patriots will need a more balanced attack. In general Tom Brady has been a consistently excellent fantasy QB. Play him and forget him. I won't be wondering about QB all season.
Negatives
Drafting a QB in the 3rd round? Especially one who doesn't jump out at you like Manning or Palmer?
Draft Strategy
I was originally planning to draft a RB in the 3rd round. But nobody there was very interesting. Tom Brady vs. Ahmand Green or Carnell Williams? Their both second stringers and neither will consistently win me a position battle each week. The WRs don't have a huge drop off and I already drafted Smith in the second round. Why not make a stab at an elite player? (Contributed by: rdsalemi)

Round 5, Pick 4
Positives
Brady has been a safe bet at QB for several years. He the Joe Montana of this millenium (so far). And he never had an arsenal like the one he will have this year. I don't know about you guys but I'm projecting top 3-4 numbers.
Negatives
Well, his arm strength isn't elite and he has had games where his accuracy fails him (4 straight seasons with a four interception game). Haha… who are we kidding? Negatives about Brady? What negatives? He's a superstar.
Draft Strategy
My draft has just become really fun. Passing on a WR2 may be the best or the worst move I've done in this leagues yet, and I enjoy every minute. I wonder how long I can keep it up? To get Brady I had to get him in the 5:th. Lot's of sharks reid their ADP sheets as it was the ten comandments and Brady is projected to go in the 6:th. He won't be there at 6:09. Brady has been greast with no legitimate starting receivers. What to expect this season with Randy Moss, Donte Stallworth and Wes Welker to throw the ball to? I expect HUGE numbers in 2007. Round 5, Pick 4
Positives
Great decision maker, and leader of a very good football team. Brady finally has a couple of weapons to work with on the outside-which can be very scary for opponents. He has the skill set around him to put up a monster year.
Negatives
Aside from the fact that he does not have the same arm-strength as some of the elite QB's, I really don't see any.
Draft Strategy
I've never been a big advocate of drafting QB early, especially in this format. However, looking at available talent at this point, I felt Brady would be much better than any of the rest. Couple him with Moss in the last round, it could be either really good, or horrible for my team. To do well in this league, I will have to do something that will make me sick....root for the Pats.
