Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the TE position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
True, he creates matchup problems for opposing defenses and has more big-play receiving capability than most tight ends, but it's hard to justify drafting him as anything more than a TE2. As is the case for several key offensive Broncos players, fantasy owners might not know what they have in him until well into the season. If the execution of Josh McDaniels' system in New England is any indication, even an athletic pass catcher such as Scheffler might not be much of a factor.
Broncos spent high picks for these two and they both really didnt make any visisble effects, imo. Do you see any improvement going to come for these rookies. I am worried about them because ayers was a one-year wonder on tennesse and alphonso ...

Round 11, Pick 4
Positives He caught passes at a decent clip for the position I drafted him in. He finds the end zone decently for a TE. Negatives He's not going to give me consistent points every week. He's had some foot problems this Spring. Draft Strategy I needed a TE and there were a few decent targets left. I will probably have to platoon this position and play matchups, which isn't really my cup of tea. I like Scheffler this late in the draft though and felt he was the best available at the position. Positives Scheffler is becoming one of Jay Cutler's favorite receivers as shown in the last 8 games of the season in 2007(33/388/3). If he continues on that trend he could easily show top 5 numbers in 16 games. Also the added bonus of no Brandon Marshall in the first two games will increase his targets and boost any fantasy team that owns him. Negatives His foot injury may not be behind him. He has not had an injury free season yet. Draft Strategy I had him marked for the 10th round and decided I was close enough to take him. I like Scheffler a lot this year. I hope he can stay healthy.
