Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Played with less burst and shiftiness last season than fantasy owners have grown accustomed, due to what has been described as an excruciating toe injury. There's that, the infamous shoulder injury which sidelined him in the playoffs before that, and the fact that he's now 30. Oh, and San Diego wants to continue to keep his backup plenty involved. Nevertheless, if he's even 90% healthy you've got to consider him in the first round of your fantasy draft. This is one of the greatest RBs ever to play that we're talking about; he could very well post MVP-caliber numbers this year and next, for all we know.
Yeah my chargers are 9-3 and doing great and have a good chance at the playoffs again this year. However I still hate Norv. I think he's a worthless pile of dog @#$@.
I must say I would love to watch San Diego go and win out and win the ...
Was not even paying attention but saw a picture on ESPN and checked it out. The chargers are only 1 game out from 1st place now in that AFC West.
Merriman is looking healthy, Rivers to VJAX has been amazing. Any way they can somehow pick up a run ...
FIRE NORV TURNER!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE THAT MAN.
He has been a thorn in SD's side since the day he walked into San Diego. I've been complaining for the past 3+ seasons with him and want him out!!!
Just wanted to vent and I just want that sorry ...

Draft Analysis
Round 1, Pick 1
Positives Main ball carrier on a team that likes to run. Durable, good hands. Negatives Lost receptions to TE Gates in last seasons offense. May never approach 100 recpt. again. Lots of carries, may begin to wear down. Draft Strategy Once I found out pick 1.01 was mine, there really wasn't any debate in my mind. (Contributed by: Cantebury)
Round 1, Pick 1
Positives What can I say? He's as consistent of a RB as you will find. He gets lots of touches, is a great receiver as well as a phenomenal back. This year should be his peak year. He's at the right age. Negatives The team around him. Hopefully the running/pass attack will be balanced and the O-line gives him holes. Draft Strategy I loooooove RB's! (Contributed by: bgarske)
Round 1, Pick 1
Positives Consistent fantasy producer for years. He scored in every game he played last year except for one. Also doubles as a recieving threat in 1 pt/reception leagues. San Diego is getting better, which should lead to more scoring chances. Negatives Not much to write about here. His receptions dropped last year from 100 in 2003 to 53. Missed the last game of the season last year due to injury. Draft Strategy No strategy here. If you have the first pick, take LT. (Contributed by: howelwitzer)
