Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Addai was a disappointment for all in 08. His past production can be attributed more to a well established offense, than personal athletic ability. The former first round selection is going for cheap money these days and may prove to be a decent "buy-low" candidate. He functioned better as a part-time producer. Look for Indy to return to a two back timeshare that worked so well in Addai's rookie season. Addai should be the lead man in a lop-sided committee, but Donald Brown will see immediate playing time. Neither back is a dominant inside runner, so goal-line looks could flip-flop.
The Colts intend to keep Peyton Manning. "Our clear intention is to have Peyton finish his career here,'' Colts president Bill Polian said as the team prepared for a Wednesday night practice at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. "There ...

Draft Analysis
Round 1, Pick 3
Positives #1 RB on the highest scoring offense in the league. No competition for his role, no TD vultures. Good receiving skills. Fresh legs, no reason to fear injuries. It's worth noting that Edgerrin James had the best season of his career in his 2nd year with Indianapolis. Negatives Unproven as the #1 back for an entire season. Loss of LT Tarik Glenn. Draft Strategy Pick 1.3 is a tough spot this year. LT is the concensus #1, and Steven Jackson is the concensus #2. Then there are about seven or eight RBs who you could argue for #3. The other backs I considered here were: Larry Johnson, Shaun Alexander, Willie Parker, Brian Westbrook, Frank Gore, and Reggie Bush. In the end, I chose Addai for his lack of injuries, and being the #1 guy with no competition on an offense that has previously elevated a 2nd year RB to a star. (Contributed by: Phyrre56)
Round 1, Pick 3
Positives My main reasoning for this pick is 1) he's on the best/highest scoring
offense in the NFL, 2) he's healthy, 3) he has no ?'s regarding him
playing and 4) when the Colts are winning by 17pts in the 3rd-4th qtr
they are going to just keep running Addai, the same thing they did when
James was there.
Those yards = mucho points in the Shark leagues.
Negatives Rookie last season.
Hasn't played an entire year as the full time RB. Draft Strategy Not taking ANY risk with my 1st round pick, LJ too many ?'s, Gore - dont like his injury history, FWP - maybe, Bush - he'll get the recieving pts, but not the TD's.
The only other RB that I considered here was S. Alexander but even he has
some risk on a declining Seahawks team(IMHO). (Contributed by: Mr_Prat)
Round 1, Pick 5
Positives Addai has shown he has the ability to be a top RB. He has few question marks or obstacles between him and a top season. Negatives He has not carried the full RB1 load yet, but the coaches in Indy trust him, so I will too. Also, there are lots of other offensive options at WR that might limit his upside some. Draft Strategy Remaining choices besides Addai (Alexander and Westbrook) carry some injury risk and have only marginally more upside than Addai, so the "sure thing" was more attractive to me.
