Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
JaMarcus comes into '09 with just one season under his belt as Oakland's starting QB. On the bright side, the young Raiders receivers who shared playing time with the likes of Ashlie Lelie last year gained valuable experience and are now joined by first round draft pick Darrius Heyward-Bay. However, all signs are that Oakland will continue to feature its running game above all else. Whereas you know what you're getting in the case of similarly ranked QBs such as Chad Pennington, JaMarcus' upside and freakish long ball are hard to ignore. Consider drafting him late as your backup, especially if you've managed to secure one of the elite fantasy QBs.
