Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Indications are out there that the Bengals want to run the ball more in 2009, given the nature of Palmer's injury in 2008 and the careful rehab process he has undertaken this makes sense. However, the team's offseason moves suggest otherwise. Given his current rate, I think taking the risk on him and finding out later if he bounces back as the Carson of old is the right move. Just be sure to pair him with another high upside option.
Thursday came the news of Chad Ochocinco saying that he wanted to see Terrell Owens sign with the Bengals. During a party in Miami on Friday, which was attended by coach Marvin Lewis, Owens said that he would change his name to Ochouno if he came to ...
I can't believe nobody comes to the team talk and we are 7-2. We should be 10- 2 after Oakland, Cleveland, and Detroit. At least 9-3. I thought at the start of the year we might be a fringe playoff team at 9-7, I couldn't see better than 10-6. ...
How long you been a bengal fan, how long have you live in or around the Cincinnati area?
Personally, Im tired of the Cedric Benson bashing; B. Scott aint doing squat until Benson goes down. It amazes me from a couple years ago listening to the ...
1. Everyone knows I have a man crush on Bernard Scott... He will probably get a little at first and I think he may end up getting as much as 40 to 50% by seasons end. Possibly more if Benson can't cure his fumbling and pass blocking woes.
2. Our ...
T.J. Houshmandzadeh's apparent exit raises questions about the status of Chad Ocho Cinco, whose trade value has fallen significantly in the past year. By trading him, the Bengals could make a clean break from the diva-receiver years, if they are so ...

Draft Analysis
Round 4, Pick 3
Positives I believe he is going to be the 2nd best QB this year. Great offense that didn't change much from last year. He is through his ACL issues. Negatives He isn't Payton Manning... Draft Strategy The shark leagues are 2 WR only. I was comfortable with the WRs I'd have in later rounds. So I've got 2 great RBs, a decent WR, and the second best QB. I'm happy. Round 2, Pick 3
Positives Palmer returned from ACL surgery in '06 and barely skipped a beat. He threw for over 4,000 yards and 28 TDs despite a slow start and an injured offensive line. When healthy, the Bengals offense can be as dangerous as any in the NFL. With Palmer 100% recovered, look for his best stats as a pro approaching 4200+ passing yards and 35+ TDs. Negatives Chris Henry is out and the offensive line isn't one of the best in the game. Palmer needs to stay healthy and continue to feed the ego of Ocho Cinco to avoid any off the field distractions. Draft Strategy I like pairing up my QB with my stud WR. With Palmer & Johnson, I'll have the best QB/WR pairing in the league. Granted, I won't have many RBs to choose from come the end of rd 3, but I'll take my chances that the #1 WR and the #2 QB will make up the difference between my weaker RBs. Round 4, Pick 6
Positives Proven himself to be one of 3-4 QBs with legit shot at 30 plus TD passes (he has more TDs than Manning combining his last 2 years). Solid offense, with great receivers and running game. He is a stud. Negatives 2 years removed from injury, but did fine last year, and better second half. Really, no other negatives, the guy is simply NOT a 4th rounder. Draft Strategy Stop the presses, Pat took a QB in the 4th round! Too good to pass up, not concerned at all about the hookup. And the WRs coming up are all grouped tightly, after the mini-run that just happened in front of me! QB/WR combos do not worry me, I don't like QB/RB or RB/WR as one's loss may be the other's gain, but not so with QB/WR. Palmer should not have been here for me, thank you. (Contributed by: Pat_Smith)
