Strength of Schedule
Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the TE position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis

Is he out of the coaching staff's dog house? Someone has to take Mason's looks, Heap's shown capable in the past but has not stayed healthy the last two seasons and Harbaugh's staff was displeased with him throughout 2008. I wouldn't draft him, but I'd monitor his progress in camp.

Receiving: 40 Receptions, 400 Yards, 4 TD.

There's no sense of urgency from the Ravens to replace Mason immediately. The team could look to add a free agent (such as Marvin Harrison) or explore a trade (for someone like the Denver Broncos' Brandon Marshall or Arizona Cardinals' Anquan ...

2008 Draft Central
Average Draft Position (ADP) Tracker
Draft Analysis
Round 9, Pick 9
Positives
Big target who has been around a long time. Good red zone option.
Negatives
Never on the field enough, lack of big play ability and never been a big yardage guy. QB situation in BAL unsettled.
Draft Strategy
I didn't like the options at RB and WR here in the 9th round, and the back up QB's I was looking at should be there in the 1-12 rd range so I though I could wait. I didn't think Heap would make it back to me in round 10. I feel I will need a back up TE with this pick as I doubt Heap will be available all 16 games this year. (Contributed by: kuhnmd1528)

Round 11, Pick 2
Positives
Heap has done well before and his upside from this round in the draft is tremendous.
Negatives
Heap has been injury prone and it's always a struggle for the Ravens passing offense to put up good fantasy numbers.
Draft Strategy
I have Heap rated as the #8 TE, the value here in the 11th round is exceptional. I believe this year the TEs 8-12 are a very good value late in the draft, so it's worth passing on the top guys while bulking up at other positions. (Contributed by: doug_coutts)
