Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the WR position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Cotchery becomes the #1 WR with the departure of Coles to the Bengals, his receiving numbers and yardage dropped last season with Favre as quarterback. With the either Sanchez or Clemens as the starting QB for the JET's Cotchery's production could take another hit, opposing defenses will be paying more attention to him. Look at Cotchery as #3 WR with some potential upside.
The season isn't officially over and I think the Jets playoff run is giving Rex some sort of extra bravado to keep his mug in the limelight. I'd obviously prefer a low profile from my coach until the pre-season.
I'll preface this by saying that ...
Pro Bowl running back Thomas Jones, who hasn't participated in any of the Jets' voluntary workouts because he's unhappy with his contract, will end his boycott next week and report to practice Wednesday, according to his agent. The Jets' other ...
Mark Sanchez arrived at Jets headquarters Tuesday to find pictures of his recent photo spread in GQ splashed across computer screens and hung throughout the locker room. Teammates described the photos as steamy, racy and perfect for a pretty boy ...
Jets coach Rex Ryan had nothing but praise for holdout running back Leon Washington Thursday, but he wasn't as effusive about Washington's agent, Alvin Keels. Ryan, speaking publicly for the first time about Washington's decision to boycott ...
Cornerback Pacman Jones still wants to play in the NFL. Whether or not somebody wants him remains to be seen. The Jets have expressed interest, according to someone close to Jones, but are waiting things out. Jones' agent Worrick Robinson said he ...

Draft Analysis
Round 6, Pick 1
Positives Finally has a QB with a pulse even though he is older than dirt. In PPR, I had Cotchery ranked around the 20th at WR, but with Favre he has moved up my draft board a little bit. Jets schedule is also favorable this year. Negatives Please find the end zone Mr. Cotchery.... Draft Strategy Too much value at WR to go any other direction here. I will pay for it with depth at other positions most likely, but Crotch was too tempting to refuse a spot on my team. (Contributed by: checo446)
Round 5, Pick 12
Positives Solid but not spectacular WR.Just got a QB upgrade in some key called Favre ? Negatives Nothing special, if Favre implodes the Jets could have a long year ahead of them. not a TD machine. Draft Strategy Looking for a WR2 in this turn of the draft,Cotchery seems like he should be consistent and might get a blip up from Favre. (Contributed by: Budman)
Round 5, Pick 2
Positives Cotchery, has good hands, nice size, gets yards after catch, doesn't go down easily. Decent speed, not a burner, Farve will help here, Chad could only throw the lob deep, Brett can zip the deep passes. In ppr a very safe play, with nice upside with Farve at qb. Jerricho has the size and leaping ability to be a red zone threat, Chad couldn't take advantage of these skills, Brett can. Negatives Only 8 tds in 4 years. Lack of top speed will keep his td #s down. Can rebuilt OL, protect Farve. Draft Strategy Looked at Bowe and Cotchery here. Bowe is stud in the making, but I think it will take few more years. Not in love with Croyle at QB, who is learning on the job. Went the safe play with Cotchery, who's uspside took a big jump with the Farve trade.
Looking for 85 recpts 1120 yds and 4-7 tds. Wide range on the tds, not sure who will be farve's favorite in the red zone yet. (Contributed by: Wolfie)
