Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the WR position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
there's this guy in the panthers huddle that has been making these things for a while but he is really getting good.
this is the latest one that he made for the panthers '09 offense.
for the '09 ...
everything i have seen and heard from this guy lets me know that there is a huge shift in the defenses mentality. last year the defense had a "bend but don't break" mentality but meeks is bringing a "find who has the ball a break ...

Draft Analysis
Round 2, Pick 7
Positives A Stud... nothing more... nothing less... Possibly had a career year last year but I think Carolina is only going to improve. Should see reduced coverage with Keyshawn on the other side of the field keeping defenses honest. This will mean he's open more and possibly can get further downfield. YPC should increase and #of catches should stay about the same. TD's may or may not go up. Negatives Has some actual competition in the receiving game. Could see a few fewer TD catches as Keyshawn is a bigger target in the end zone. Draft Strategy Ok does this really need analysis? Moss and TO were already gone so this one was an absolulte no brainer. As my WR1 he should do me proud once again. And having Keenan opposite him should mean he sees less tripple coverage so his numbers could improve over last year. (Contributed by: elnator)
Round 2, Pick 4
Positives With the NFL's new contact rules for WRs, Steve Smith took advantage and tore up the league last season. His speed, route running ability, sure hands, and after the catch elusivness give him the ability to change the tempo of any game with one play. Smith single handedly carried the Panthers last season but the off season addition of Keyshawn Johnson will keep those defensive double and triple teams at bay for Smith. Negatives Smith has some hamstring issues right now and is listed as Day-to-Day. Though it appears as though the Panthers are just being cautious there is always the concern that this injury could linger and effect his numbers. Knowing that after a productive season in 2003 Smith suffered a season ending injury in 2004, I can only hope that the same will not apply for 2005 and 2006. Draft Strategy Smith is my top rated WR (16th overall) and with McGahee taken the pick before me (Damn you Houserockers!), I am left to judge the value of backs such as Chester Taylor vs. the value of Smith. Knowing that taking Smith would take me off my draft strategy, I still believe that Smith holds more value at this point in the draft so I snagged him up. I also know that I am going to be left scrambling for RBs later because of this pick and have to adjust my entire strategy. (Contributed by: CoreyD)
Round 2, Pick 5
Positives Has been a regular stud at WR. Catches a ton of balls, scores a ton of TDs and has the unquestioned faith of his QB. Negatives Has some injury concerns, being a small receiver and having missed the whole of 2004 to injury.
Also has been joined by one of the notorious "I want mine" receivers in Keyshawn Johnson which could dilute his stats a bit. Draft Strategy Originally intended to go RB/RB, however, the second round saw a run on other positions (mostly WR although we did end up with QB and TE on the run as well).
At this point I thought I would be better served with the #1 WR on my board and then coming back with a RB in round 3. (Contributed by: Budman)
