Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Maroney broke a bone in his shoulder and was done after week 5 last season.
This season New England's back field is a muddled mess with RB's Fred Taylor, Sammy Morris, Kevin Faulk and BenJarvus Green-Ellis all vying for playing time. Due to the limited amount of action he sees in the passing game Maroney is not worth much more than a late round flier until the RB depth chart becomes settled.
Does any of you know what is the status of Sammy Morris? Bellicheck is a fantasy owners nightmare!!! why does he always have to be secretive about his injured players? It drives me nutZ!!!
Please if anyone has heard anything...let me know! ...

Draft Analysis
Round 6, Pick 12
Positives Another rookie RB added to the team, but not a guy that I will need to count on in my starting lineup every week. The guess here is that Corey Dillon will not finish the season injury free and as was shown last year (see also Patrick Pass, etc), the starting RB for New England has very good fantasy value. Negatives The rookie has a motivated Corey Dillon in front of him and a highly paid QB behind him that needs to be protected. Likely won't see much action on 3rd down, which will diminish his value. Draft Strategy Perhaps a little early for Maroney, but my draft position required me to take him here if I want him to be on my roster. Another risk at RB, but I will add him to my pile and hope that one can emerge. (Contributed by: doug_coutts)
