Strength of Schedule
Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis

Campbell had a serviceable '08 performance in which he did throw more than twice the amount of TD's compared to interceptions. However, he averaged less than 1 scoring toss per game! His slow release isn't the best fit for HC Jim Zorn's West Coast offense, but at least he's had one season under his belt with this same scheme. Since being with Washington, Campbell has had to adjust to new offensive coordinators every year up until now. It will still be the "Clinton Portis Show" for the Redskins, but look for Campbell to be a "sneaky good" #2 fantasy QB.

Passing: 3180 Yards, 16 TD, 9 INT.
Rushing: 200 Yards, 1 TD.

2007 Draft Central
Average Draft Position (ADP) Tracker
Draft Analysis
Round 13, Pick 7
Positives
Young QB who is the starter and has some seasoning, as he secured the job late last year. Solid core of recievers to throw to and good offensive coaching. Should at a minimum perform as an average fantasy QB and if he is as good as billed, exceed that. Surprisingly, can run too.
Negatives
Washington is not a great team, but up and coming. Campbell is inexperienced and relatively unproven, but has the faith of the coaching staff. His mechanics need work too, his delivery has been alleged to be too slow for this level of competition, and like all young QBs, he'll have to make faster decisions.
Draft Strategy
With Palmer on the team, all goes well and Campbell plays once - week 5 when Detroit comes to town. That made this pick easier. Plus I like youth with upside (a pattern in my drafting) and that is Campbell. If I am called upon to start him more often I think he will play reasonably well, maybe hooking up with Moss (also on my squad). (Contributed by: Pat_Smith)
