Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Averaging only 3.4 and 3.6 yards per carry, respectively over the last two years, Betts may not be the ideal candidate for a "must handcuff" situation regarding Portis Owners. Losing Portis would be a great loss for your fantasy team, but I wouldn't lose sleep if I chose better value elsewhere with another RB available during the draft.
For all you disgruntled fans here is a website that one of my friends from the dc area put together in an effort to improve the orginization from the ground on up:
As a philly phan I personally like what Snyder has ...
What do you think of Cooley this year? I have always loved him as a player and fantasy player because he's as dependable as the sun coming up in the morning. He's never missed a game and barely any practice in his 5 year career. I love that he's ...
Clinton Portis made his last visit to John Thompson's radio show in D.C. on Wednesday and he didn't sound like a man enamored of his role on the Washington Redskins. He started by complaining about his seating assignment on the team plane and moved ...

Draft Analysis
Round 6, Pick 11
Positives Betts is a proven runner, he all but carried the offense last season in Portis' absence. He topped 100 rushing yards in all but one of the last six weeks of the season. Negatives Even when he is in fulltime (as he was for a good portion of last year) he doesn't get a lot of receptions, and if Portis stays healty, he won't see near the playing time he did last season, but still should be a good bye week replacement back. Draft Strategy I needed to fill my bye week RB and pickings were getting real slim for a potential stand-out. Betts filled that need perfectly. Even if Portis stays healthly, Betts will see some decent playing time to avoid excessive wear-and-tear on Portis. Of the backs that were left at this point (LamOnt Jordon, Kevin Jones, Julis Jones, Chester Taylor, Fred Taylor), I felt that Betts had the most upside and potential for being a contributor to my roster. And the guy picking after me (6.12 and 7.01) has Portis on his roster, so I really think if I didn't take Betss here, he would have. (Contributed by: mrkkti)
Round 6, Pick 11
Positives Showed he could do it all last year. Should get his share of touches even when Clinton Portis is healthy. Negatives Playing behind Portis limits his touches. Draft Strategy RBs were dropping fast, I felt Ladell was the best of the available RBs. He also has a huge upside if he gets the chance to play more. (Contributed by: DAFLCommish)
Round 8, Pick 3
Positives Handcuff to Portis. Might get some additional carries if Portis is injured. Negatives Is only a backup at this point. I wouldn't want to play him unless he takes the starting role. Draft Strategy I HATED drafting a backup this early but I'm kinda surprised he dropped this far. Other sharks have been drafting Betts as high as the 5th or 6th round, however; I wouldn't advise that. Had Fred Taylor or Mark Clayton dropped to me I probably would've picked them instead.
