Fantasy Analysis

The Falcons brought Jackson on board prior to last season as a replacement for the aging and plodding Michael Turner. What it appears that they got was an aging and plodding Steven Jackson. Jackson did suffer a hamstring injury that cost him four games as well as a toe issue that hampered him upon his return. That being said, there was little shake and bake in his game prior to the injuries and by season's end he just looked old. Too many times last season Jackson just plowed into the line and lacked any semblance of explosiveness. At 30 years old with over 2,250 carries on his body, the wear and tear seems to have caught up with the 'Predator.' The Falcons drafted Devonta Freeman in the 4th round of this year's draft and according to head coach Mike Smith, Freeman has feature back potential and we wouldn't be surprised to see him pass Jackson as lead back sometime this season.

Rushing: 1075 Yards, 6 TD.
Receiving: 40 Receptions, 325 Yards, 2 TD.

Not a Falcons fan (and I see this forum has not been visited much recently), but I think Falcons fans should pound the drums for their old uniforms (early Vick era) and Falcon logo back before this new stadium is completed. That old uniform was ...
