Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
The 34 year old Delhomme put together a decent 2008 and should do the same behind a solid O-Line in 2009. However, the show in Carolina is on the ground, so pick up Delhomme late in the draft as a good backup.
there's this guy in the panthers huddle that has been making these things for a while but he is really getting good.
this is the latest one that he made for the panthers '09 offense.
for the '09 ...
everything i have seen and heard from this guy lets me know that there is a huge shift in the defenses mentality. last year the defense had a "bend but don't break" mentality but meeks is bringing a "find who has the ball a break ...

Draft Analysis
Round 7, Pick 4
Positives Strong and developing QB. Has Steve Smith back and new supporting receivers. Ability to throw deep and a smart player. Surrounded by talent and a drive to succeed. Negatives
Draft Strategy I think he is a solid value pick in 7. Already having a starting QB, he is a backup. But with his potential, it is a great safeguard against me going down based on a bad season by my starter.
Easier to wait on the WRs here since there are many at the same level following. (Contributed by: Ed_Leduke)
Round 8, Pick 2
Positives Surprisingly, Delhomme has established himself as a solid No. 1 and is quietly coming off a very good season. Delhomme has gone over 3,000 yards in both seasons as starter and his touchdown totals went way up in his second year. And a healthy Steve Smith should give him a boost. Among Colbert and Gardner the team will find a nice complement to the speedie Smith. Negatives Delhomme is a solid pick in the 8:th round, making it hard to come up with negavtives. If I have to say something it has to be Carolinas conservative Offense and the questionmarks at RB. Draft Strategy There are screaming areas of need on my roster but I choose to spend my 8 rounder on a back-up/bye/spell player. Right arround here RB's and QB's dry out completely and the the next tier of D's are going off the board. This will make me loose out on the D run but I take my chanses. Rather play the matchup game with D than with QB. And in Delhomme I might actually have my best QB. (Contributed by: Paddler)
