Strength of Schedule
Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis

He's soft and the coaching staff doesn't like him, there's reason to believe the only reason he's still on the team is because he'd cost the team more to cut than to hold onto. He'll get some touches, but he's not the focal point of this offense.

Rushing: 700 Yards, 7 TD.
Receiving: 30 Receptions, 240 Yards, 1 TD.

There's no sense of urgency from the Ravens to replace Mason immediately. The team could look to add a free agent (such as Marvin Harrison) or explore a trade (for someone like the Denver Broncos' Brandon Marshall or Arizona Cardinals' Anquan ...

2008 Draft Central
Average Draft Position (ADP) Tracker
Draft Analysis
Round 2, Pick 12
Positives
Expect good yardage out of McGahee. The defense should improve with everyone back from the injury reports last year, providing more opportunity for the offense.
Negatives
Questionable QB and OL situations. Knee injury is a concern. Ray Rice could eat into some starting time.
Draft Strategy
The RB talent is beginning to drop off and McGahee feels like a good value here at the end of the 2nd round. Grant was chose immediately before the pick, and I would have preferred Grant with the idea of him having a higher ceiling than McGahee. (Contributed by: ledford1)

Round 3, Pick 3
Positives
Solid RB when healthy. Puts up average or better points almost every week.
Negatives
Bone chips being removed, doesn't sound too bad, but people are making quite a big deal out of it. Might not be 100% for a few weeks.
Draft Strategy
After drafting Manning with 2.10, only one other RB was taken (Thomas Jones). I would not have taken him anyway. Needed a good second RB from this second tier, and McGahee is it. (Contributed by: Ed_Leduke)
