Dallas Cowboys Team Talk

Lots of ups and downs. I critized them early and they went on to prove me wrong. I appreciate the effort these guys made to turn the year around and I am very proud of them as a team. Can't wait to get my hands on Favre in Texas next year! I ...

Deion Sanders Terrell Owens Michael Irvin Roy Williams Deion Sanders All punks. Every one of these, and this is only to name a few. As far as I'm concerned, there is only one good and decent Cowboy in history, and that man is George Teague, ...

Cowboys' Seeding Scenarios (Aspirin Needed) Posted by rphillips at 12/28/2009 12:49 PM CST on truebluefanclub.com Warning: this entry could cause an ice-cream headache, but we think we've figured out the Cowboys' playoff seeding ...

This is awesome! It contains some great footage of the rivalry through the years. Enjoy.

Draft Analysis
Round 1, Pick 7
Positives
Was always a better runner than Julie Jones, and this year has no serious competition for the #1 spot. He plays on a top team with a great QB, receivers, and offensive line. Defenses cannot key on him. Built like a tank, legs like tree trunks, meaning a lower injury risk.
Negatives
Um ... hold on, I'm thinking. Doesn't catch a lot of passes, I guess.
Draft Strategy
About the best I could expect to do at the 7th spot. I'm actually really excited to see what he can do with the starting job in Dallas. (Contributed by: pcfountain)

Round 1, Pick 6
Positives
Tank of a player on a team that describes him as an every down back
Negatives
Usual injury concerns for an every down back
Draft Strategy
Picking six, I still wanted an RB. I narrowed it Gore, Lynch, or Barber. I think Barber will play the most games and score highest of those three. (Contributed by: DAFLCommish)

Round 1, Pick 8
Positives
Performed huge last year with limited touches compared to other top RB's. Becoming the clear number 1 guy, he will be a big part of a huge offense in Dallas.
Negatives
Anyone that runs that hard is always an injury risk (see Brandon Jacobs).
Draft Strategy
Had a choice between Barber, Portis and Lynch. I think if he gets the touches, Barber could be a Top 5 back this year. All about the "upside" here. (Contributed by: RayHandley)

Wow just wow......
Draft #6 in PPR league
Best keeper strategy
Amish, those are the types of ideas I was looking for. One thing I like about ...

Value Based Drafting, any good offseason articles?
Albert Haynesworth
RE: Albert Haynesworth...
Don't be a square and pass up L.J at #3
