Strength of Schedule
Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the WR position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis

I keep expecting him to take a step back, Ward keeps proving me wrong. I don't think it's too late to move beyond past mistakes, I'm willing to ride this guy out until he physically falls completely apart. You'd think a guy who plays like Ward would have crumbled by now, but here we are. He'll net you WR2 production at a WR3 price. Buy.

Receiving: 75 Receptions, 920 Yards, 7 TD.

Pittsburgh Steelers Team Talk
Man, what's up with losing at home to the crapball Raiders? I'm bumbing about the Pats losing at Miami. But I can console myself somewhat by saying, Well, at least we didn't lose to the friggin Raiders....

.............Can Tomlin's plan to turn around the defense really work, or is the season over for the Steelers?...

I'm thinking we can still get in. We have to have Ben and Polamalu though. Anything less will prove to be the end of a promising year. I'm still disgusted with the chokes we've had this year. We should have beat the Bengals both times, the ...

Will the running game pick up? How much are we missing Polamalu? Can Ben do everything on offense? Will the refs continue to let people hold Harrison every other play?...

2008 Draft Central
Average Draft Position (ADP) Tracker
Draft Analysis
Round 6, Pick 11
Positives
Hines Ward has been very good for a very long time. A consistent possession receiver, you can count on him for around 70 catches and decent TD production every year. Big Ben is one of the young stars at QB in the league, and the Steelers are good enough at the other positions to make sure Ward can operate in space.
Negatives
Hines is getting old, now at 32. Santonio Holmes is probably going to be the #1 WR in town this season. Ward has missed games in each of the last 3 seasons. This league doesn't give points for great blocking.
Draft Strategy
With only 1 WR on the roster, it was the clear position to draft. Hines Ward is a solid WR2, exactly what you're looking for to hold down the position in a PPR league. (Contributed by: Agenda42)

Round 6, Pick 7
Positives
Consistently productive, especially against AFC North opponents.
Negatives
Injuries and age are starting to slow him down.
Draft Strategy
I was looking for a bye and suspension cover, Hines fits the bill. (Contributed by: DAFLCommish)

Round 7, Pick 2
Positives
Proven player, puts up good points especially against AFC North teams.
Negatives
Getting older and did lose some time to injury last year
Draft Strategy
Great WR3 pick. (Contributed by: DAFLCommish)
