Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
The latest reports that I am seeing is that Westbrook is recovering from knee surgery ahead of schedule. It didn’t seem that long ago that I heard the exact opposite. I’ll follow the premise of latest news being more accurate than older news and assume he’ll be ready for Week 1. But this injury certainly has the attention of Fantasy Football owners around the country. Most mock drafts have Westbrook being taken a tad later in the 1st round, compared to last year. Given the fact that this talented runner will hit that dreaded birthday number (30) that all NFL RB’s fear (or at least they should) this September, he’s barely holding on to #1 fantasy RB status. You can expect some receivers and maybe even a QB being drafted before Westbrook this year.
First we lose the great Jim Johnson. Then we lose Stewart Bradley.who in my opinion was on course to prove himself ProBowl worthy this year. Now DeShaun Jackson hyper extends his knee (hopefully not serious), and promising rookie Cornelius Griffin ...
I, for one am glad to finally see some pizazz and variety to what till now has been a boring predictable offense. With McNabb due back this week, and moving forward, is it really a disruption to the offense or just him? :-k...
Eagles Juqua Parker, though, had the misfortune to be discovered with a small bag of marijuana in Bethlehem, as a passenger in teammate Todd Herremans' van early yesterday, during training camp, where every news outlet serving Eagles Nation is in ...
It makes sense that the Eagles might agree to at least guarantee some of the more than $19 million they are scheduled to pay Donovan McNabb over the next 2 years, and perhaps even boost that total. NFL Players Association figures released at the ...

Draft Analysis
Round 1, Pick 7
Positives Westbrook was a top 5 RB in '06 in Shark League Scoring. He should be a lock for at least 70 catches which is gold in PPR leagues. A healthy McNabb should keep the opposing Defense honest, and the lack of a standout #1 WR means Westbrook may get more targets. Negatives Injury Risk. Draft Strategy I was torn between Willie Parker and Westbrook at this pick. I went with Westbrook because of his receiving abilities. (Contributed by: sloww)
Round 1, Pick 6
Positives His ability to catch the ball out of the backfield will make up for his sometimes meager rushing totals, plus he always averages a high yard per carry even though he doesn't get a lot of carries. Negatives He's brittle, even when he makes it through a full season he always seems to be suffering from some nagging injury. Draft Strategy (Contributed by: killak_35)
Round 1, Pick 5
Positives Great at catching the ball out of the backfield and this IS a PPR league. I had him rated as RB4 with 240 rushes for 1050 yds, 6 TDs and 70 receptions for 675 yds, 4 TDs. He stayed healthy last year. Negatives His size makes you question his durability. Draft Strategy Definitely was going to take a RB in the 1st round and, after Tomlinson, I would have been happy with any of the next 4 or 5 backs. My RB4 fell to me at 1.05. Thought about Addai, who I consider the next best back that was available (RB6)but believe he'll struggle to get 50 receptions on that team with so many other weapons. (Contributed by: dmcduke)
