Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the WR position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Through the first half of the 2008 season Evans was the 11th ranked fantasy WR, for the second half of the season the season he fell to number 52. The addition of Owens should take away the double coverage he faced most of last season. He should perform better than last season but should be considered as #3 WR that we would only use a later mid round draft pick on.
we just picked up your old WR coach and i was wondering what you guys thought of him.
i don't know too much about him and wasn't impressed about hearing him named to the position.
any input you have would be good.
thanks....
ESPN reported that one of the candidates that the Bills might be interested in interviewing is the coach from Montreal of the CFL. How crazy would it be if they hired a CFL coach!?! I think that'd be the kiss of death and the Bills would be gone ...
Lurking the different threads and stumbled upon this one. Saw we hadn 't posted since 7/31....come on guys a lot is happening in Buffalo this year!
Prediction: Maybin and Schobel meet at Brady and knock him out for the year in the first quarter....
Any new news on Marshawn Lynch? I heard on espn earlier that it was looking like gis suspension was going to be reduced to a 1 game......

Draft Analysis
Round 6, Pick 11
Positives Has great talent, has shown he can put up monster fantasy games. But... Negatives He is far and away the most inconsistent player the NFL has ever seen. Draft Strategy I wanted Rudi Johnson here, but once again the only RB on the board I felt was worth picking in this spot was snagged two picks earlier. I have yet to secure my RB3, and that is a problem. I have Fred Taylor pre-drafted in the 7th right now and am waiting on 2 picks, so we will see if I get the RB3 I still need next round. Round 5, Pick 2
Positives Quick strike capability. Will be able to add significantly to a single game score. Also, Buffalo is likely to be playing a lot of catch up. Negatives A middle of the road WR in terms of speed, etc. Can be shut down. Draft Strategy We are moving from picking the best of good players to the better of average players. I needed to grab a higher end WR before they are all gone. That said, I'm relying on someone exceeding their expectations in the WR department. (Contributed by: rdsalemi)
Round 6, Pick 8
Positives A good receiver on an improving team. Evans did better last year whenever Trent Edwards played, so Edwards being the starter this year from the outset bodes well for Evans. Also, the added threat of Hardy in the passing game, and Lynch going into his second year as the starting RB all point towards Evans having a good year. Negatives Buffalo is still not that strong of an offense, Evans may never get the chances to score big fantasy points. Draft Strategy Evans is my third WR, a good backup to the best WR tandem in this league. I've always held off on QBs in Shark leagues as they don't score all that much, and the strategy has always paid off for me, hopefully this year won't be any different. (Contributed by: Baron_Fel)
