Positives He's the running back on the Broncos. Anyone who is the running back for the Broncos will have a good year. I'd draft Tony Holm himself if he were running for the Broncos. Negatives He was consistently a fantasy #2 back last year. Will he turn it around with the Broncos? Draft Strategy It's just time to draft RB. So I didn't consider other positions. Positives If he can run for 1200 yards despite missing 2 games last year, just imagine what he can do in the running-back factory known as the Denver Broncos. In a career mildly plagued by injury, Travis Henry has produced outstanding numbers when given the opportunity to start. A move to Denver is only going to improve his stock running behind one of the best offensive lines in the league. Negatives The last couple of years, Mike Shanahan has not settled on just one running back to carry the load in Denver's offense. Mike Bell and Tatum Bell have split carries the past two seasons, and since Mike Bell is still on the roster he could potentially split time with Henry and steal some of his numbers. There is also the risk of injury, he hasn't played all 16 games since the 2002 season. Draft Strategy Assuming Henry takes all goal-line toches and becomes the featured back in Denver's offense, there is no doubt Travis Henry will rank in the top 10 in scoring this year. With my first pick, I want to pick up a guy who I can count on week after week, and picking the #1 running back in Denver's offense is one of the safest bets in football.
