Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Gore benefits from a new offensive coordinator and Singletary as head coach. He is the most consistent player on the 49er offense. At 26, he still has fresh legs and will be asked to carry the workload. Look for him to increase his production in carries, yards, and touchdowns.

Draft Analysis
Round 1, Pick 4
Positives
Negatives
Draft Strategy I hated this pick. But I dropped all pre conceived thoughts and picked the player who I thought was the best available. (Contributed by: WireWeasel)
Round 1, Pick 2
Positives The Niners should be much improved this year, and their line should be able to keep Gore looking as good as he looked last year. Negatives The biggest negative is obviously the injury risk. I'm not too worried about the broken hand - I saw it as a blessing in disguise because it will keep him out of a lot of opportunities to have a more serious injury in the pre-season. Draft Strategy I struggled with the decision to draft Gore over Jackson and Westbrook, and it is a gamble, but hopefully he will make me proud. I'm staying away from LJ and Alexander this year. Westbrook is going to score a lot of points in this PPR format though. (Contributed by: tiptonhr)
Round 1, Pick 6
Positives Centerpiece of an improving offense. Had him ranked #3 on my board. Negatives Broken hand in preseason. Draft Strategy I thought I would wind up with Addai or Bush at pick #6 so I was pleasantly surprised when Gore was available. (Contributed by: jbohrer)
