Strength of Schedule
Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the WR position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis

Yes, we're looking for Berrian to post his first 100 yard season, but his lack of consistency in 2008 is a concern. Four times last year he went over 100 yards, four times he was under 20 yards. Ugh! Look for that to continue in 2009, regardless of the QB situation, so draft him accordingly.

Receiving: 60 Receptions, 1000 Yards, 6 TD.

Minnesota Vikings Team Talk
Well, what do you guys think we should go after?...

And you can take it to the bank! Ryan Longwell was on with PA today, and said Brett told him how much fun he had this year. Longwell (One of Brett's best friends on the team) is convinced he will be back. Hopefully he gets rested up down ...

Puuuhleeease.  Let them run their mouths. I assume we will be an underdog (according to the media) again. Just fine by me :D...

2008 Draft Central
Average Draft Position (ADP) Tracker
Draft Analysis
Round 8, Pick 4
Positives
Solid year last year with Chicago, a team that did not pass well. Capable of creating seperation, and working underneath and against zones. Should be the #1 option in MINN passing game.
Negatives
MINN may not throw all that much this year, and Tavaris Jackson has been erratic. He did trend up at the end of last year, and Berrian might be the best receiver he has had the chance to work with.
Draft Strategy
This was a depth pick here. I'm not so sure anyone is banking on Berrian being anything other than a spot starter at the beginning of this season. I took him as my WR4 and am hoping he can fill in occasionally if needed. Possibility to move up the ladder, but I see him as a WR3/4 with some potential. Better value than anyone else on the board in my draft at this point. (Contributed by: kuhnmd1528)

Round 7, Pick 12
Positives
No. 1 wideout in Minnesota. He has the potential to be top 25 if Tarvaris Jackson can figure things out and get the ball to him.
Negatives
Tarvaris Jackson is his QB. Far from a sure thing.
Draft Strategy
Needed another WR. (Contributed by: hawkenstein)

Round 7, Pick 7
Positives
Number 1 WR on the Vikes, and will be counted on to do soemthing about all the 8 man fronts they will see. Blazing speed, and good hands. Could outperform many WR3s and potential to blossom into something more.
Negatives
No QB to speak of, and the QB is hurt to boot, but otherwise reports on the passing game have been surprisingly okay.
Draft Strategy
I like this guy for the upside, as has been said before, great WRs rise above weak QB situations. He did it last year after all. The Vikes passing game, IMO, is actually an improvement over Chicago (although some would argue that). (Contributed by: Pat_Smith)
