Strength of Schedule
Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis

Edge gets new life in Seattle but the offense isn't all that great to start with and Edge isn't as quick as he used to be. He'll get some touches but not enough to warrant a selection. Late round flyer at best.

Rushing: 350 Yards, 3 TD.
Receiving: 10 Receptions, 150 Yards, 1 TD.

2007 Draft Central
Average Draft Position (ADP) Tracker
Draft Analysis
Round 2, Pick 11
Positives
Multi-dimensional back who can catch, giving him increased value in the PPR scoring. I'm hoping with some progress by Leinart and a hopefully improved passing game and o-line, Edge has a bit more room to rumble this year.
Negatives
Who knows if Coach Grimm and first-round OT Levi Brown will really improve the offensive line, which was quite dreadful last year. Edge suffered because of it. They've definitely got nowhere to go but up on that front. I also worry a little about how much gas is left in James' tank.
Draft Strategy
It's a Shark league, so, even with a few oddball picks here and there, you KNOW it's going to be very slim pickings at RB sooner rather than later. Picking at #2, I opted to go RB in round 2 because there will be a decent WR1 waiting for me in the third. I did have other fairly comparable RB options in Brandon Jacobs, Cadillac Williams, Deuce McAllister, etc., but I felt Edge was the more proven of commodities compared to Jacobs/Caddy and, unlike Deuce, no Reggie Bush to worry about splitting time with. Here's hoping for a return to previous form. (Contributed by: adevil519)

Round 2, Pick 9
Positives
Edge is alone in the backfield this year for Arizona with a new set of coaches and stands a good chance of getting 300+ carries this year(60pts on carries alone!!). This is his 2nd year with AZ and by the looks of the last month of 2006 season, he is getting more and more comfortable with the O-line in Arizona. His skills are well known to all and I hope to see him shine in 2007.
Negatives
Last year Shipp stole a few TD's from him due to his inability to score at the goal line. If this continues, it will be a long season for me.
Draft Strategy
I wanted Holt or Chad Johnson at 2.09, but since they both went before me I decided on my old standby RB-RB looking to pick up a top ten WR at 3.04. I could have taken Portis here but then I'm stuck having to handcuff him to Betts. Edge to me is the better of the two. (Contributed by: RatSlinger)

Round 2, Pick 11
Positives
He's got a good history, and Arizona's had the off-season to improve the OL and Leinart. Just a repeat of last years 1300 total yards, 6 TDs, and 38 catches will make him a solid RB 2.
Negatives
to quote gballs1, "have you forgotten who he plays for? Emmitt Smith should have taught you what happens to aging RBs who go to the desert."
Draft Strategy
Only TO and Steve Smith were off the board at WR, so sitting just in front of the 2/3 elbow I know a top WR will be there at 3.02, so I went with the best RB available. (Contributed by: rockstarphil)
