Houston Texans Team Talk
Because they are shorthanded at defensive back, the Texans are bringing in veteran cornerbacks Deltha O'Neal, Mike McKenzie and Jason Webster for tryouts Thursday. With Dunta Robinson missing camp because of a contract dispute and Jacques Reeves and ...

The Houston Chronicle reports that the Houston Texans have agreed to terms with quarterback Rex Grossman. The deal is for one season and a minimum of $745,000. He joins Dan Orlovsky and Alex Brink as backups to Matt Schaub....

Texans tight end Owen Daniels has become the second player to skip organized team activities this offseason because of a contract dispute with the franchise's front office. Daniels' agent, Alan Herman, said he and his client were told they would ...

Draft Analysis
Round 16, Pick 9
Positives
Led all kickers in 2005. The Cards should be able to move the ball with Fitzgerald and Boldin providing Rackers with a reasonable amount of attempts.
Negatives
Was only 3 for 9 from 50+ yards last season. His FG% was also poor at 70% (21 from 30).
Draft Strategy
I needed a kicker. I'm hoping he bounces back to that '05 form, but if he doesn't, I'll just pick up another PK off waivers......there are plenty available. I was also looking ahead to game 1 where he plays San Francisco and I can see him getting a few attempts in that game. (Contributed by: Aussie)
