Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Norwood is a change of pace guy with solid receiving skills and shifty moves after the catch. You could do worse as he is capable of making some spot starts in your lineup.
The tone of Roddy White's negotiations with the Falcons has taken a turn for the worse. "I'm a little bit disappointed with the direction that the negotiations are going at this point," Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff said ...
There have not been any takers since the Falcons announced in February that they planned to trade Michael Vick's contractual rights. If the Falcons can't find any takers, they would very likely release him outright, if he is reinstated. Vick would ...

Draft Analysis
Round 8, Pick 10
Positives Norwood averaged six yards per carry last season while splitting time with Warrick Dunn. With Dunn off to Tampa Bay, Norwood now must contend with Michael Turner who was brought in to be the feature back. Turner must prove himself that he's up to the task and Norwood will be willing and able to fill in stealing as many carries from Turner as possible. Negatives If Turner is successful at maintaining the #1 RB workload, Norwood is a reserve player at best. Draft Strategy I didn't want to jump on the defense run that just began and I like the remaining RBs much better than the WRs left. Grabbing depth at RB at this point in the draft makes sense to me rather than taking chances on RBs in later rounds. (Contributed by: Ron_Anish)
Round 9, Pick 7
Positives Has shown a lot of promise in his limited opportunities. Atlanta's running game is still pretty good, probably the best feature of their otherwise miserable team. Negatives Always seems to be stuck behind another player on the depth chart who isn't very effective. Draft Strategy The RB choices are so thin at this point that I'm starting to take flyers. I like Norwood's potential, but like previous years, he may never get a chance to start. If he does, look out - I think he will be very good. (Contributed by: pcfountain)
Round 10, Pick 10
Positives Solid, quick, great hands. Negatives Not the starter...at this point. Draft Strategy Michael Turner carrying the rock for the whole season? I doubt it. And here is my wager. Norwood will regain the starting spot and have a decent season. Considering he's 4th in my RBs, it's another partial risk pick. No harm in taking him, and he could have a great season.
