Draft Analysis
Round 10, Pick 8
Positives When he's hot, he's hot. Rivers will need a vet to chuck the ball to. This guy is the definition of a vet. Negatives When he's not, he's not. No Brees. A bit long in the tooth. Draft Strategy Good ADP and VBD at this point. (Contributed by: defcon4)
Round 8, Pick 7
Positives Very solid WR who is continually under-rated. Last year he had over 900yds and 9 TD's... I honestly think Rivers will be fine at QB his numbers should stay the same, hopefully. Negatives He's getting a little older. While he isn't slowing yet it's hard to say how he'll hold up over the course of the season. Rookie QB means he could have his work cut out for him.
Draft Strategy While there are some questions about whether age or a young QB may affect his production I honestly was very shocked to see Keenan still on the board this late in the draft. I snapped him up with confidence as a #4 option where I only have to start 2 WR's.

Round 11, Pick 2
Positives WR1 for Chargers. Still runs good routes and if Gates is taken out of game (injury, scheme, etc.) becomes #1 target for passing game. Negatives Rivers first year starting will probably rely on Gates/LT. Draft Strategy Was just looking at value here and McCardell as my WR4 looks good. Hopefully I won't need him this year; but, if Gates gets hurt he might crack my starting lineup. (Contributed by: Faraim)
