The jewel of Oakland's defense is cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, who can shut down just about any team's primary receiver. But there have been some pleasant surprises among his teammates in the secondary, and the linebackers are considered a strong unit. If Derrick Burgess can get back to pressuring quarterbacks on a regular basis and the defensive linemen complimenting standout tackle Tommy Kelly can continue to develop, we could have a sleeper defense on our hands.
