Draft Analysis
Round 12, Pick 2
Positives Back with Derrick Mason, has Todd Heap as a target and a solid running game - could be back to MVP form, and will at least be a solid QB2. Negatives Most people avoid him because of injury concerns and lack of confidence in the Ravens offense. But while he is always hurt, it never costs him playing time, and I think he will make the Baltimore O into a serious contender this year. Draft Strategy League - Pacific Mako.
In this league, I was a complete RB-whore, looking to build a solid backfield of both talent and depth to last the entire season.
As a QB2 in the 12th, I think he has amazing value. Most people are down on him this year, so it's not so much of a steal here, since he's usually available this late. (Contributed by: phubar)
Round 11, Pick 1
Positives McNair moved from Tennessee, a team on the offensive demise, to Baltimore who has a Pro Bowl TE (Heap) and a stud WR (Mason) that McNair is very familiar with. Negatives My nickname for McNair is 'Q' since he's questionable seemingly every week of the season. Draft Strategy McNair is a nice QB to have in a bye week, but not someone you want to rely on week in and week out. He will post some big weeks and could be an interesting option down the stretch, but taking him any higher than the 10th or 11th round would be a reach. (Contributed by: Ron_Anish)
