Indianapolis Colts Team Talk
The Colts intend to keep Peyton Manning. "Our clear intention is to have Peyton finish his career here,'' Colts president Bill Polian said as the team prepared for a Wednesday night practice at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. "There ...

Whos returning kicks for the Colts this week?...

The Indianapolis Colts open the regular season Sept. 13, with or without Bob Sanders. Increasingly, it looks like they'll be without. The veteran safety remains on the physically unable to perform list after undergoing surgery on his right knee, and ...

INDIANAPOLIS (AP)—Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri(notes) had surgery on his right hip this week and is expected to be ready for the regular season. Vinatieri, one of the NFL’s great clutch kickers, was treated by Dr. Marc Phillipon, who operated on ...

INDIANAPOLIS (AP)—Peyton Manning(notes) may not have all the answers about the Colts coaching staff. At least he’s on the same page as management. Ten days after complaining about a lack of communication with the front office, the Colts’ ...

Draft Analysis
Round 2, Pick 9
Positives
a shoe in for top 3 qb again this year. Just so consistent every week and year
Negatives
had minor knee surgery could become a problem
Draft Strategy
was the safest pick on the board with all the top rbs and wrs off the board (Contributed by: Brian6)

Round 3, Pick 2
Positives
A consistent winner at QB. Barring disastrous injury, I'll be able to drop him into QB weekly without worry.
Negatives
He's on the Colts. As a NE fan this just kills me. (A tip for new fantasy owners. Don't be a homer! Choose those that you hate most if they can help you.) Other than that, there are no negatives. Maybe Harrison isn't what he was. But Gonzales is coming up as is Wayne. Hard to see a downside.
Draft Strategy
It would have been easily defensible to pick up a WR here. But part of this game is fun and it's going to be fun watching Manning on the highlight shows. The 3rd round is a defensible pick for him. He would not have made it through the 20 picks that it would take to get him in the 4th round. But now I need to scramble at WR. (Contributed by: rdsalemi)

Round 2, Pick 7
Positives
Surprised that he is still available. Rare to see him go outside the 1st round. Brady's success overshadows his amazing consistency over the years. Good group of receivers with Wayne and Clark coming off career years. If Harrison brings ANYTHING and Gonzalez steps up, the sky is the limit.
Negatives
Coming off infection/surgery, but don't expect any drop in performance.
Draft Strategy
I have never, EVER, won a league in which I took a QB in the 1st or second round. It is hard to get excited about later QB bargains when your starter's name is carved in stone. This year will be different-- more excited about later RBs... (Contributed by: Starfire58)
