Strength of Schedule

The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis
The Texans defense was awful in 08. With the play-makers they have on paper, this unit should improve. Mario Williams has proven worthy of his number one selection and should continue to mature into a dominating force in 09. He should build off his 12 sack total in 08. Williams needs a worthy compliment, and Houston sought out to find one by acquiring Antonio Smith from Arizona and drafting Connor Barwin out of Cincinnati. Improved trench play will depend on the maturation of Amobi Okoye. The linebacking corps received an overhaul, with import Cato June and rookie Brian Cushing. DeMeco Ryans will general this unit, and will finally have some help in the middle. Dunta Robinson leads a shaky secondary that needs to improve if the Texans want to make a legitimate run at the AFC South title.
