Draft Analysis
Round 5, Pick 2
Positives Seems to be steadily improving in his two years with the Broncos. Threw for 4000 yards last year and played all 16 games. Negatives Throws a lot of interceptions. Luckily they don't hurt too bad in this scoring format. Draft Strategy Round 5, time to snag a QB. Plummer is fairly consistent and he plays on one of the NFL's better offenses. He has the reliable veteran target in Rod Smith, the young, fast target in Ashley Lelie, and let's not forget about Jerry Rice! (OK, fine, let's forget about Rice.) Plus, it's always nice to pick a player from your favorite team so you have someone to root for on Sundays. If he can throw for 4000 and 25+ TD's again this year, this is a good pick.
