Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
The Cowboys really need to consider working in a drafted QB to give them an option if they decide to go in another direction from Romo. Choosing to go with aged veterans, this year’s “band-aid” is Jon Kitna, who just two years ago, had back to back 4000-yard passing seasons with Detroit. Certainly not worth drafting in fantasy leagues, Kitna would be a hot waiver wire acquisition, should something happen to Romo.
Lots of ups and downs. I critized them early and they went on to prove me wrong. I appreciate the effort these guys made to turn the year around and I am very proud of them as a team.
Can't wait to get my hands on Favre in Texas next year! I ...

All punks. Every one of these, and this is only to name a few. As far as I'm concerned, there is only one good and decent Cowboy in history, and that man is George Teague, ...

Draft Analysis
Round 7, Pick 2
Positives An 11 year veteran that has some awesome talent in WRs (Calvin Johnson, Roy Williams and Mike Furrey), not to mention some decent RBs (Kevin Jones, Tatum Bell and TJ Duckett) to help open up the game. Kitna has all the makings around him to have a great season as a fantasy QB this year and showed do no worse then his 4th place league standings in passing yards from last year. Negatives He was sacked a league high 63 times last, but with the addition of bell and Duckett, defenses shouldn't be able to pressure him as much. Draft Strategy It was time for a QB. Up till this time, 7 QBs were off the board, so 5 teams still needed to find their #1QB, I felt that a run was going to start so I grab the one I thought had the most potential, and with the additions the Lions made in the offense, I decided on Kitna. Round 5, Pick 6
Positives QB in an offense that will be behind alot, and forced to throw alot. Has tremendous weapons at WR at his disposal, and i feel Martz will use Tatum Bell in a Marshall Faulk type role to give him another option. Last year he threw for over 4000 yards and 20+ TDs and i think he'll be even better in year 2 under Martz. Negatives He does turn the ball over alot, but with only -1 point for interceptions i'm willing to live with that. Draft Strategy Getting a QB who i feel has the potential to put up top 5 numbers in the 5th rd. i'm very happy with. (Contributed by: killak_35)
Round 6, Pick 10
Positives Veteran on a team with skilled WRs. The Lions are likely to air it out early and often. Negatives Kitna is consistent at best, he will not single-handedly win a fantasy game for you. He could be prone to a bad game against a good defense. Draft Strategy There was a big run on TEs before this pick, so I knew I wouldn't find value there. I already had 3 RBs and I felt there were plenty of #3 WRs that would fall to the next round. Might as well get my starting QB. (Contributed by: Phyrre56)
