Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.

Positives I think he's underrated because of the team he's on, and because he had shoulder surgery. He has good receivers and a strong backfield though, and the Saints will probably be playing from behind thanks to their porous defense, so he can put up big numbers. Negatives Recovering from shoulder surgery. Weak offensive line protecting him. Draft Strategy With the QB tandem of Delhomme and Brees, I can play matchups and hopefully maximize my points. Positives Was a winner in SD...regular season winner...but he had a stud RB and Stud TE...average WR's....here in NO he has a stud RB to be, no TE, and a very good WR in Joe Horn and an average WR in Stallworth.....He has had 27 and 24 TD's the last 2 years...not likely to happen this year...22 would be a good year...I look for about 3200 yards passing...but the team may be playing from behind alot so that could help out his #'s. Negatives Coming off shoulder surgery could be an issue, he has looked akay at times in the pre-season, may be relied upon to handoff more than pass. Draft Strategy Grab a backup WR or QB...best available...Brees was the choice. he will be playing from behind which sometimes is a Fantasy players dream!!!! Could be a steal here, but he is my #2. Positives A proven performer who can throw the ball. He has two good receivers in Horn (who is healthy this year) and Stallworth. Reggie out of the back field could also catch some balls for good yardage and TDs. Negatives Has he recovered and will he be healthy. A re-injury is also a concern. The addition of Reggie might mean the Saints will run the ball more (course Brees still had good numbers with LT at RB). Draft Strategy Round 10 and a few good QBs still on the board. I needed a quality backup and Brees was the highest rated on all my cheat sheets. He has a good receiving corps and RBs who can catch the ball. With the Saints going back to their home stadium in a few weeks, this could mean a motivational boost that might carry them through the season. Their defense is not the greatest so they will have to score a load of points to win--which translates to a lot of passes. (Contributed by: GTOsRule)
