Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the TE position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Is he out of the coaching staff's dog house? Someone has to take Mason's looks, Heap's shown capable in the past but has not stayed healthy the last two seasons and Harbaugh's staff was displeased with him throughout 2008. I wouldn't draft him, but I'd monitor his progress in camp.
Unless the Ravens are able to successfully revisit expensive trade scenarios for Pro Bowl wide receivers like the Denver Broncos' imposing, trouble-prone Brandon Marshall and the Arizona Cardinals' disgruntled veteran Anquan Boldin. The Ravens are ...
There's no sense of urgency from the Ravens to replace Mason immediately. The team could look to add a free agent (such as Marvin Harrison) or explore a trade (for someone like the Denver Broncos' Brandon Marshall or Arizona Cardinals' Anquan ...
It’s a busy day for the Baltimore Ravens. They are voluntarily and involuntarily losing players. This time, Baltimore cut defensive end Marques Douglas, who now becomes a free agent....
Ravens cornerback Samari Rolle sits at his home in Florida and waits to be cut. The signs are there. The Ravens recently asked him to take another pay cut. The team just signed cornerback Domonique Foxworth, and some key defensive veterans from a ...

Draft Analysis
Round 6, Pick 9
Positives 73 receptions last year. He's averaged about 12 Fantasy points a year over 5 seasons, very consistent except for 2004 when he was hurt. A good TE for a PPR league that requires a TE. Negatives The Baltimore offense is nothing to brag about. He doesn't get many TDs or make many big plays. Draft Strategy My first 5 picks were RBs and WRs, and I didn't seen any left that were valuable enough to pick. At QB the good ones were gone and the talent level had flattened out. I expected only 1 or 2 to get drafted before my next pick, so no hurry on a QB. At TE the choices were Shockey or Heap, or a gamble on Vernon Davis. I selected Heap. (Contributed by: mf)
Round 5, Pick 2
Positives Heap is a two-time Pro Bowler with 3,658 career yards and 26 touchdowns. He is consistantly a solid performer and a primary target in Baltimore's offense. He started last season very strong, and rarely missed any time. Negatives He did have a less than stellar second half of the season last year and was consistantly listed as questionable, but he got on the field regardless. Draft Strategy I was looking at going with a QB at this spot, but with a TE requirement, I felt I needed to get one of the better ones, especially if my #2 RB pick doesn't pan out....I'll need something to try and balance the point spread. Additionally, I felt that I could still get a real solid QB with my 6.11 or 7.02 pick. (Contributed by: mrkkti)
